So I only have 3 more days of full access to a computer and the internet. Looks like the down-town library is gonna be my friend.. lol. I realized that I have a problem. I am addicted to computers and the internet. I may not be as proficient at navigating as most .. but lemme tell you.. I have learned so much in just the past week of being constantly on the computer! I love it.

I am probably bothering i_am_ashleigh because I consistently bombarding her with questions. Heh, sorry girl.

I have thought more and more about dyeing my hair and I am getting excited at the prospect of being a little unique again. I will have more freedom to do such at my new job. I am thinking a dark burgundy w/ pink highlights and black lowlights.. not positive yet.. but its sounding kinda interesting...

Microsoft to launch Xbox 360 on Nov. 22

Microsoft Corp. will launch its Xbox 360 games console on Nov. 22 in the U.S., the company announced at a news conference in Tokyo on Thursday.

That will be followed by launches in Europe on Dec. 2 and Japan on Dec. 10, said Yoshihiro Maruyama, executive officer and general manager of the Xbox division of Microsoft Co. Ltd. The news conference was held to announce launch details and preview the company’s activities at the Tokyo Game Show, which begins on Friday.

The Xbox 360 will launch in Japan in one version only, which will cost ¥37,900 (US$343). That differs from the U.S. and European markets, where two versions will be available: a basic version for US$300 and a premium edition for $400.

The Japanese version will be almost equivalent to the premium edition. It will include the console and several accessories, including a 20GB hard-disk drive, wireless controller and wireless remote control. A limited-edition launch package will also include a headset, said Maruyama.

“We have a very strong broadband infrastructure in Japan compared to other countries,” said Maruyama, in response to a question about why the hard-drive is a standard item in Japanese versions. “There are various online contents on offer and these require a hard-disk.”

Compared to the offerings for the U.S. and Europe, the Xbox 360 package launching in Japan appears to be something of a bargain. It’s unlikely that happened by chance. Of all the markets where it will launch the Xbox 360, Microsoft probably faces its toughest battle in Japan.

The current version of the Xbox dived in Japan and the console has struggled to find credibility among gamers. Microsoft has been working hard to turn that image around by recruiting big-name game developers to write exclusive content, and is already talking to retailers about launch plans.

A few of the exclusive titles under development for Xbox include “N3 Ninety Nine Nights,” by Tetsuya Mizuguchi of Q Entertainment Inc. and “Every Party” by Yoshiki Okamoto of Game Republic Inc. Developer Hironobu Sakaguchi is also working on a game for the console.

“For Xbox, Japan really is a key, important market in the global strategy that we have,” said Maruyama. “We have a very strong commitment to succeed.”

For all the preparation, the console won’t do well unless Japanese gamers take an interest and a campaign designed to assure that kicks off Friday. The public will get their first chance this weekend to see and try out Xbox 360 games at the Tokyo Game Show. Microsoft plans to have 27 games on display at the event.

Nearer to the launch, an “Xbox lounge” will open in the fashionable Aoyama district of Tokyo where people will be able to try out the new console, Maruyama said. *edit* OMG! It worked! I have never been able to do an lj cut before! Go me!!!

Okay so I am sitting here at work w/ headphones plugged into my computer... listening to XM online!! haha I love it.. Satellite radio kicks so much ass! Both Charles and I have it in our cars, but being able to listen to it at work makes it so much better. If you don't have it, it is sooooo unbelievably worth it. I love all genres of music; from the 50's decade to the 90's, from Billie Holliday (whom I was just listening to) to Pennywise... you get the hint. Frank Sinatra is on now.. :) WooHoo! This rocks, I was gonna leave early today but now I don't know! "and if I fell, fell under the spell of your call... Don't you know I would be caught in the Undertow... So you see I just got to say no.... NOOo... all or nothing at alllllllll..." sorry.. I love Frank Sinatra.. so sexy... When I get married Ima definently play him.. Oh yay! Well hello everyone :) Sorry I did not update yesterday, slightly busy at work. Well I know where I am moving in the future! Maine is so amazing! It is so much different from Florida, not just the weather, but the atmosphere, the architecture, the beaches! I can't even put into words how beautiful it was/is. We stayed at a little cottage on the beach in a town called Biddeford. The beach area is called Biddeford Pool because when it is low tide the entire area empties out and you can walk to the "islands" that are in the area! There is one really neat island about 1/4mile from the beach that Charles and I walked, yes walked, to. It has a very old lighthouse at the top of it. We never made it to the lighthouse because I was afraid that the tide would come in while we were exploring and be stuck there! Charles did however pick fresh raspberries for me! Yum! It was such a neat experience. I will try and upload some photos of the area.

Another neat thing about Maine is that you can buy freaking LOBSTER from Gas Stations!?!?! And it's normal to do so!!! Can you believe that? It was only $5.99 per lb!! YumEE! Man, I love lobster.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! I got some great pictures of that. Also it was the most fun I have ever had at a wedding! The reception was so much fun! Lots of drinking and goofing off! The bride and groom (Charles' sister and new bro in law) are extremely nice! You could definently see how much they love each other!

I really really want to move there. There are no such things as "apartments." I mean they have rental "communites" but most of the rentals are made to look like houses, I mean they might have a few apartment complexes but ... I did not see one "florida" apartment building. If you don't know what I mean.. Drive down Dale Mabry or Fletcher and see how ugly and monotonous those buildings are.. then go to Maine, everything is so different.

I can go on and on about Maine, it is honestly one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! It's so clean too! I have to say that I even like it better then Canada!! :-X!!!

Oh can't forget to thank i_am_ashleigh for making me new ICONS! They are great! I especially like the one that I am using now :)

I also tried to refab my journal a bit, but I am not that good at it! If anyone would like to take a crack at it, let me know! oh yah, do you like my new emoticons? Of course I didn't make them.. don't know how to!

I hope my plane doesn't crash.

So... I am so bored... and sleepy. I never go out during the week but a Charles'z friends stopped by and we decided to go to The Reservoire. It was quite fun actually, lotsa drinking and pool action going on. I actually shot some pretty decent pool. I was impressed :) Today is my last day of work for the rest of the week. Yay! Vacation starts tonight! I am so excited. Well my car is kinda fixed, at least I think. Charles replaced the battery for me. I have such a wonderful boyfriend (most of the time..hehe) Okay so not much to say. I am bored that s about all .. and I already said that... so.... yah... almost lunch time.

How was everyone's Labor Day?

This weekend wasn't the greatest but wasn't the worst either. Charles and I didn't do too much this weekend. Friday I think we stayed at home and played video games... Saturday We slept most of the day :) and played video games, then went and saw The Brother's Grimm... Not the greatest movie, I was very upset about that. It was too much slap-stick comedy. It depicted the Grimm brothers decently but there needed to be more "stories" behind the "story."

Sunday ...Went to the beach for a little bit.. weather was great, it was hot but not as humid as usual... great day for the beach... then got ready to go to my mom's for dinner... well get out to my car, and my car won't f-ing start!!! So we had to take Charles'z. Come to find out that my battery cables are eroding and I need to get them replaced, we kinda rigged it for now, luckily I work only 2 blocks from my apartment.. (well until I start my new job on the 26th) So if worse comes to worse, I can walk!

Monday- Mel came over w/ Ryan... we drank some beer, Charles made some yummy Sundried-tomato alfredo sauce w/ pasta! Then went to the mall.. Ryan bought Mel a freaking Juicy Cautier (sp?) IPOD case?!?! What the hell?!? That damn thing was $60... I can think of a hell of a lot more things to spend $60 on! I tried to explain that to Charles but he kept saying "you know you would want it if you had an IPOD," he kept saying it over and over, I finally got really pissed off and asked him if he really thought I was like that, and he said you know if I bought you something like that you would love it! I again tried to explain to him that the name meant nothing to me and $60 is a lot for a freaking IPOD cover and he should know after being w/ me for almost 2 years and knowing me for 13, that I don't care about shit like that! Needless to say, that day kinda deteriorated after that. He didn't really say much to me (when I get upset about something he doesnt say anything, he clams up!) until about an hour after we got home... Bah! He finally half-assed apologized (he's a guy, thats about all I expect from him...) and the night got a little better... Played some more video games and went to bed. (yah I am a ps2 junkie :) )

okay so that's my weekend... kinda boring.. sorry... you didn't have to read it!

Oh yah, I work today and tomorrow then I am off the rest of the week!!!! WOoHoo! Off to Maine!

(forgot to mention that my boss, Aaron, had his car broken into and his work laptop stolen! so now we are down to 1 computer between the 2 of us, so I might not get a chance to update or respond till tomorrow)

Okay, so Robin doesn't feel well today. I hate working in a large office with a whole bunch of people because once someone gets a cold it bounces to another and another... you get the hint. It also seems to mutate each time it gets to another person! *grumble* I have a sore throat, I am coughing and I feel dehydrated. I bought a Triple Grande Non-fat Vanilla Latte from Starbucks and I can't even bring myself to drink it! Blah! I hope this goes away quickly. Lots of vitamins and herbs for me! Even though I feel like crap, Ima go to the gym! I need the work-out and supposedly its good for you to excersize when you are sick.

It feels so good when someone forgives you, yah know? I admit when I was younger I was selfish, it was all about me me me. I didn't care who I hurt as long as I got what I wanted. Well... I grew up. Screw the self-centered person that I was. All I can say is my past taught me, yes I am saying that I did learn from my past. Everyone screws up, we're human, we're allowed to. Someone once said "To err is human, to forgive is divine." The is one of the best quotes I have ever heard. Commiting the act is easy, forgiving the person who did it, is difficult to say the least. Thank you for all that have forgiven me for the "little shit" that I was 'back in the day'. I am happy to say that I have grown up! *smiles*

I keep reading articles on Katrina and the devestation she wrought. Each new picture I see brings fresh tears to my eyes. My thoughts go out to all that experienced the power of hurricane Katrina. I wish I had the money to donate to Red Cross! I can only imagine if Tampa and St Pete got hit by the storm. I am one of "those" people that like to wait hurricanes out. I always sit in my apartment and not really prepare for the storm. I am not going to be "that" person next time. I am going to play smart and prepare, and if time calls for evacuation then so be it. I am so glad that I do not have friends or family in the path of Katrina! I know a few people that have yet to hear from friends and family members that were caught up in the storm. I can only imagine what they are going through right now. My heart goes out to each and every person that felt Katrina's rath...

Good Morning!

I am awake. Mmmm.. I love espresso. I can't wait to start my new job. Hopefully it turns out to be as good as it appears. I will be working for Bank of America in their small business department making great money!! Plus if my shift ends after 7pm, I get a 10% differential for the entire day! I am so excited! It is a casual enviroment so no business clothes for me anymore. It also has both tuition and book reimbursment. My current position is neat cus I have a computer that I can play on all day but its recruiting, and I can't stand being a sales person, which in all actuallity is what I do. So life is great. Charles and I are getting along great. I think it is because we don't see each other as much. He works from 12-9pm and I work from 8-5 so having opposite schedules means that we see less of each other. I have come to appreciate him more. Also since he works until 9pm each night it makes it easier to spend quality time w/ my friends. Mel(issa) came over last night and we made dinner. It came out yummy. We had pasta. Mmm.. I sautéed mushrooms in garlic, olive oil, and herbs and then added "Bertoli's Olive Oil and Garlic" tomato sauce. I made some boca italian sausage and added that. Mmm.. i was very good. Oh yah, can't forget I baked a cake too.. Haha.. Just call me Miss Suzie Homemaker!

So I now have a work computer. It took 5 months, and I only have 1 month to appreciate it, but for now I do have a computer, so I should be at least updating more often then before.

Life is pretty good. Not much to talk about. Lovely, I get access to a computer on a regular basis and have nothing to talk about. I think Ima steal Joey's survey thingie.. That will keep me busy for a little while...
